ABOUT JEFF LAGEMAN
Jeff Lageman grew up in Northern Virginia and received a degree in economics from the University of Virginia in 1989.
A first round draft pick of the New York Jets in 1989, the 14th player selected overall, Jeff played for the Jets from 1989-1994. Jeff was signed as a free agent by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 1995 and finished his playing career there retiring following the 1998 season.
Following his playing days, a career in broadcasting awaited. Current broadcasting duties include: color analyst for the Jaguars radio game broadcasts from 2003-present. Co-host of “The Jaguars Show" and "The Jaguars Pregame Show", Jacksonville Jaguars weekly television shows during the NFL season. Jeff is also Co-host of “Jaguars This Week” a weekly year-round radio show covering all topics related to the Jaguars and the NFL.
Jeff is co-host of the nationally syndicated Hunt Life Outdoors Show, a weekly radio show aired across the country, featuring hunting information and nationally recognized guests each week. Jeff is also the co-owner and co-host of “The Outdoors Show,” a live call in radio show that talks hunting and fishing every Saturday morning from 8-10 a.m. on 1010XL in Jacksonville, Florida. The “Outdoors Show” is now in its fifteenth year and has become a part of the outdoors lifestyle in Jacksonville.
An avid outdoorsman, Jeff started fishing at the age of 6 and hunting at the age of 12 in Virginia, and currently sits on the Mossy Oak National Pro Staff. Playing professional football allowed him to travel to many places and meet numerous people who are actively involved in the outdoors like himself.
Jeff is also the owner and manager of Ochwalkee Creek Plantation, a tree farm in Central Georgia.
Jeff and his wife Misti have a son named Dylan.
