ABOUT KIRK WALTZ
Kirk first started hunting on the banks of the ashley river in charleston , SC with a bow and a sling shot at the age of 12 . It is rumored that he shot more trees than squirrels but it started a fire in his soul that still burns bright today.
Kirk says that "My love of hunting comes from my desire to relax and enjoy the outdoors. I get great peace from spending time in God's creation. Watching how animals interact and seeing another day unfold. You can' t get that from a couch in your home. It's also a time to bond with family and friends which in today's hustle and bustle is priceless."
Kirk's favorite places to hunt are close to home in a little patch of heaven on the banks of the Sewannee River outside of Fargo ,Georgia and a small farm in Cornetsville ,Kentucky.
Favorite targets of Kirk's include whitetails and turkeys but he also loves to pursue hogs, squirrels , quail, and pheasant .
One of Kirk's greatest achievements was to learn to shoot his bow well, and that the patience that took, have made him a much better hunter.
Kirk is a part of the Mossy Oak Pro Staff, as well as a Co-Host on the very popular local radio show, "The Outdoors Show". He is also part of the Nationally Syndicated "Hunt Life Outdoors Show." Kirk is also a regular contributor to "Coastal Angler Magazine" and is one of the most respected charter captains in Jacksonville, FL.
